Lucinda Mock Cable Hot Water Bottle Cover Knitting Pattern

An easy-to-knit hot water bottle cover featuring a mock cable design using only knit and purl stitches. The cover is knitted in Aran weight yarn and is made in two pieces that are sewn together.

To fit a standard size 2L hot water bottle

Yarn

Any Aran weight yarn that knits to the stated gauge.

The sample was knit using Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran

Needles & Notions

Suggested needles: Size 5mm (US8)

Large sewing needle

1 metre length of ribbon

Gauge

18sts and 24 rows to 10cm square over pattern using 5mm needles
