Beatrice Cushion Cover

This cushion design will enable you to get the look of a traditional cable design by a series of knit and purl stitches and no cable needle in sight! If you can cast on, do a knit stitch, a purl stitch and cast off, you can make this cushion.

Size

To fit a 40cm (16") square inner pad.

Yarn

Recommended Yarn: Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran (90m (98yds)/50g (1.76oz)

You can substitute with any Aran/Worsted weight yarn as long as you get the same gauge (see below).

Quantity: 360m/392yds or 4 x 50g balls approximately

Needles & Notions

• Suggested needles: Size 4.5mm (US7) and 5mm (US8) single point needles.
• Large blunt sewing needle
• Removable stitch markers
• 40cm (16”) square cushion pad
• 5 x 30mm buttons

Gauge

18 sts and 24 rows to 10cm square over pattern using 5mm needles
