Dotted Swiss Cardigan - Baby - 7yrs Knitting Pattern

Knit with any sport weight/5ply yarn, this sweet little cardigan is simple to make, with a little added texture for interest. The sleeves are knitted flat, the body is worked in one piece from the bottom up to the armholes, then the sleeves are added and the raglan shaping is continued in one piece from the armholes to the neckband.

Sizes: 0-3m/3-6m/6-12m/12-24m/3-4yr/5-7yr

Yarn requirements (based on Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino - 125m/137yds per 50g ball):

• 0-3 months (finished chest circumference 47.5cm/18.75”) - 3 x 50g balls
• 3-6 months (finished chest circumference 52cm/20.5”) - 3 x 50g balls
• 6-12 months (finished chest circumference 57cm/22.5”) - 4 x 50g balls
• 12-24 months (finished chest circumference 63.5cm/25”) - 5 x 50g balls
• 3-4yr (finished chest circumference 68.5cm/27”) - 6 x 50g balls
• 5-7yr (finished chest circumference 73.5cm/29”) - 7 x 50g balls

Needles: Size 3mm(US2-3) and 3.25mm(US3) 80cm (32”) circular needles and either shorter circulars or DPNs for the sleeves

Optional: Single point needles in the same sizes for knitting the sleeves, collar and button bands
